How will you feel in 5 years, if your life is the same as it is right now?
Do you believe in the power of a single question to utterly change your life? For good. And forever.

I definitely, didn’t know the power of the question, until this one came like a lightning bolt out of the blue and changed everything.
This one simple question caused a falling of inner dominoes - removing the blinkers to clear-sightedness & knowing - and suddenly I knew. And I knew that I wasn’t at the right place on the path…
This inner reordering became the springboard for an ongoing conversation that - step by step - utterly altered the trajectory of my life.
Helping me walk my way into what I once believed (& despaired) just wasn’t possible for me, just wasn't possible for my life…
I hadn’t a clue then (few of us do) but conversation, the kind that involves compassionate, open-ended yet deep digging questions in service to the possible, is a remarkably powerful - and seriously underestimated - it's the path to gobsmacking change.
Simple conversation. (if only I’d known) provided that the conversation is ongoing. And rooted in the hope that change actually is possible. And the simple admission we want change. Change we haven’t, for the life of us, been able to figure out on our own.
I spent years trying. And trying. And trying. Trying was my life…
Progressively feeling more confused, lost, exhausted, overwhelmed and - and to be perfectly honest - powerless to do anything about it.
All the while covering up how I really felt (imposter syndrome anyone?) and at the same time I worked my a*** off building what looked like a “together” professional & personal life. But the ache of living an inner life wildly out of step with my outer life made feeling lost even worse.
It wasn’t till years later - years after that question & the ongoing conversation that followed - led me into the life I live now, that I started to realize I was far from the only woman who feels this way… Lost and utterly discombobulated despite:

-
having a polished-looking social media profile & professional life
-
having bright & shiny couple goals
-
always looking on-point, fresh & well put together

I was taught - as most of us were, from pram to profession - that achieving these goals & aspirations would make me feel accomplished and, well, worthy of those achievements. But it didn’t. At least, not sustainably. Climbing the ladder of achievement only exacerbated the confusion & lostness because while my life looked great from the outside, it felt (for the most part) increasingly off. Empty. Even awful. This is something I hear more & more & more from accomplished, intelligent, driven professional women very much like me.
Something I don’t want for you any more than I wanted it for me.

A couple of years ago, after looking back to see how far I’d come and how deeply satisfying & right-feeling my life is now, it hit me: if a single question - and powerful conversation (of a very particular kind - more on that in a moment) - could do that for me, it could do the same for others, right?
Which is when I started a series of conversational experiments, confirming with each conversational step that my wondering was indeed right. If you’d told me 4 years ago that inquiry-driven conversation was the ticket, I’d have thought you were crackers …
Certain Types of Conversation - the type that just feather someone else’s pocket are not for me; neither is a coaching program, a sales pitch with templates & one size fits all. If you’ve got a bit of inner suspicion about this, don’t let it stop you: this is NOT that.
